Training for Trainers

To satisfy its aims and objectives fully, SICA-FICA provides training of potential trainers of future mediators or arbitrators. Suitable Accredited Mediators (from the final, Capacity Building stage in the Mediation stream) and Certified Arbitrators (from the final, Capacity Building stage in the Arbitration stream) are offered specialised training as follows:

• Developing Trainers of Future Mediators, a 1½-week intensive Course which will develop the special skills required for training mediators. Successful completion will lead to formal Qualification as a Mediation Trainer.
• Developing Trainers of Future Arbitrators, a 1½-week intensive Course which will develop the special skills required for training arbitrators. Successful completion will lead to formal Qualification as a Trainer in Arbitration.
