On Request

Interested individuals, organisations or governmental departments may contact us directly to discuss the provision of training or advice related to conflict management generally. Such requests should be made to either the Secretary or the Training & Education Officer and should detail what is required, with a brief outline of the cultural and legal framework in which this will function.

These details should include: the field(s) under consideration (arbitration, mediation, ombudsman, ADR &c); the degree(s) of competence to be achieved; the availability of suitable venues for training Courses on location (or whether distance learning alone is requested); the most suitable times and dates for training on location; the preferred duration of Courses; and what funding is available.

The cultural background should note briefly: the language(s) in which training could be given; the political, judicial, ethnic and religious environment(s) of the location; the overall legal system within which training or advice is requested; and the actual and/or proposed laws relevant to the desired field(s).
