Funded ProjectsIn accordance with its principles, SICA-FICA provides first-class training Courses at minimal cost, many lecturers giving of their time pro bono.
However, even these, basic costs can sometimes be more than students can afford and such Courses can only take place with funding assistance from others.
A request for training which cannot be paid in full directly requires that the shortfall is obtained elsewhere.
To date, funding for such projects has been provided by interested organisations (such as IBRD, Shell Nigeria, Zaid Ibrahim & Co., UCA San Salvador) and individuals in or associated with SICA-FICA.
Looking for funding assistance is a continual problem since the main thrust of our work is in the poorer parts of the world where students are able to afford only nominal fees for our Courses.
Those interested in assisting us should contact the Secretary. We welcome not only funds but also any other assistance, such as donations to our library or relevant equipment and materials for our Courses.
